This was and amazing wedding to photograph, the day really was perfect in every detail, from the simply stunning venue of Broughton Hall to the amazing card tricks in the evening , it really could not have been a better day.
Kristina & Andy literally stumbled on Broughton Hall as they were driving back home from checking out another wedding venue and what a discovery. Broughton Hall is amazing!
As you approach the Hall, down the long tree lined driveway, the first glimpse of this beautiful historic country house really does take your breath away, and we had the ideal weather for this fantastic English country wedding.
The day started with Kristina and the girls getting ready in the Hall, whilst Andy and the guy’s passed some time with a spot of clay pigeon shooting at the Coniston Shooting Ground.
Then it was back to Broughton Hall for a really emotional yet fun wedding ceremony, which took place in the small church next to the main hall. So you can imagine the walk to church whilst short was indeed spectacular.
After the ceremony we had some time to make photographs and take in everything this amazing day had to offer, before heading into the main dining room for the wedding breakfast, followed by three hilarious speeches and even more fun in the shape of the singing waiters!!
Mat Hepplestone owner of Red Floral Architecture had been commissioned to decorate the venue. He certainly pulled out all the stops and provided the perfect decoration to complement this superb period dining room.
As the evening unfolded the wedding party made the short walk through the gardens over to Utopia for the evening reception and what can only be described as the most amazing Pizza I have ever tasted fresh from the oven!!
This was our first time working at Broughton Hall and it was great to share this special wedding with some great wedding industry professionals, I have already mentioned Mat Heppleston and Red Floral Architecture, the fantastic pizza was courtesy of All Fired Up (they should be at every wedding;)) and the talented magician Sam Fitton, who entertained the guests along with the band, across at utopia. Whilst Jonny Cocktail kept the drinks flowing well into the night.
I would also like to give a special mention to Roland from RT Productions who was the videographer for the day. Big weddings like this need teamwork and it was great to work with Roland again on this wedding.
So what an amazing day, we really had it all. Kristina and Andy are a beautiful couple and such great people to be around, there guest were fantastic and made us all feel so welcome we loved every second of this wedding day.
I really do think we have now seen the perfect English country wedding…. Mr & Mrs Stevens, thanks for having us along for the ride. It was amazing!!
