At the end of February 2012 the location of Dromoland Castle was the perfect setting for the two day wedding of Aoife Obrien and Andrew Chesworth Wiggers. Family and friends flew from the UK and travelled across Ireland for this magnificent wedding. The Lowry Hotel | Manchester | Jane and Andrew’s Wedding Day
What a great fun filled wedding day! Jane and Andrew had a beautiful mass at their church in Chorlton followed by a superb wedding reception and party at The Lowry in Manchester. The church was full with 300 guests, and another 100 at night!! Many having come from Ireland to celebrate this couples special day. Here are a few images from their happy day!

West Tower has a really interesting history and dates back to 1785 It was commissioned by Liverpool shipping magnate Lord Alfred Holt. The tower located on the west part of the house allowed Holt’s staff to locate ships arriving to Formby Point from North America and India.
